Masters' Sire Stunner Rascal is well known for producing athletic Jumpers and tough event horses. His dam Time Will Tell is out of a shire cross TB mare out of a Cleveland Bay Stallion. Salt is also the Dam of Pembridge Mistress ex Stunner Rascal, with Ann Binner in Perth.
Master was sold as a two year old and repurchased by
the stud when the stud closed where he had been standing/competing. A good
looking talented horse with his Sires' athletic jump, we gave him a seasons'
hunting and brought him on ready to event. We are delighted that he was spotted
on our yard by Margaret Spencer. Ian Wills came to try him and took an instant
liking to his outlook. Late this season they have started to event him In view
of his promise in pre novice, with good results Ian has already completed two
Novice, with Master coming 11th and 4th.It augers well for the remainder of this
season and next, with
them having the winter to cement the partnership. Margaret and Ian are planning a
winter programme for master and will bring him back out eventing in the spring.
The
season ended on a good note with master amassing 10 points and ranking 9th in
the BHD rankings for young stallions.
Events took a turn and Ian moved on to his own yard once more.We took the opportunity to reviewe Masters career and decided that he could exell as a dressage horse. He is currently with a young teenage rider.
