Pembridge Minstrel Style was bred from top racing and eventing lines in
Holland, by Jose Verkerk His dam Stylish Rascal,a black type winner and own sister to Stunner
Rascal, the studs leading competition sire, retired to stud after breaking her
leg, thus calling to an end her racing career. She was successful as the dam of
eventers and performance horses as well as racing stock. She was the dam of Canny
Rascal a leading event horse, as well as Noble Rascal
Minstrel Star a Group winning TB was a prolific sire of performance horses in Germany Holland and Belgium, being one of the few TB's graded and licensed to cover warmbloods.
Style came to England to Newmarket to go into training as a two year old, but
in view of his stamp, already a big impressive sort, after having given him a
few runs in Belgium,where he came into the frame,but obviously needed more time
in view of his size.He went to Ireland to event and be graded by the
IHB.returning to England,after his successful eventing career he now stands at
stud.
